ETS now live on Giveth!
ETS has been accepted into the exclusive, invite-only GIVETH-ARBITRUM Quadratic Funding Round, which runs until August 13.
We are thrilled to announce that ETS is now a project on Giveth! This significant milestone opens us up to ongoing donations and funding rounds from a variety of Web 3 ecosystem projects, allowing us to further our mission and make a greater impact.
We are also excited to share that ETS has been accepted into the GIVETH-ARB Quadratic Funding Round. This invite-only round, running until August 13, is aimed at builders who are enhancing the Arbitrum ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to gain crucial support and funding.
Please consider donating today – with quadratic funding, even small donations are amplified by the 150,000 ARB matching pool!
Upcoming Testnet Launch
We're aiming for the end of August for our public testnet launch. This launch will reveal much more about the core functionality of ETS and include a developer SDK, documentation, a playground, and a mock tag auction. We're excited to share these features with you and look forward to your feedback.
A little preview of what we've been working on:
About ETS
ETS addresses a problem that many people may not even realize exists: the inefficiency and centralization of tagging in Web 2.0. Currently, tags are handled by highly redundant infrastructure, consuming vast resources and developer hours. This leads to a highly fragmented and siloed tag graph with most social and monetary value extracted by media giants. At ETS, we envision a different future where:
- Tags are composable, first-class web primitives.
- Tagging infrastructure for creating records is decentralized and permissionless.
- The tag graph is universal, global, and freely accessible.
- Provenance and attribution are preserved.
- Value is community-owned.
With ETS, we aim to transform tagging into a more efficient, equitable, and community-driven process.
